What is a Cacao Ceremony?

Many of you know that I am a complete chocoholic and have been teaching how to make raw vegan chocolate for nearly 10 years now, I have taught over a thousand people how to make life changing shifts in their diet and ditch sugary processed chocolate for delicious homemade raw chocolate in 5 minutes with 5 ingredients – check out my Chocolate Master School for more info.

Cacao is chocolate in its purest form from South America and has been used by ancient and indigenous tribes for thousands of years in rituals and as a plant medicine – not a psychedelic as the term “plant medicine” may imply!!

A cacao ceremony is a heart opening process which allows us to connect with our hearts, to the earth, to the universe and to deepen our meditation and heal fragmented parts of us that we have abandoned over the years. The ceremony itself aids with inner processing, guidance and releasing blockages in our lives and energy system. It’s also really good for you and packed with nutrients.

Drinking a high dose of Cacao in a ceremonial environment is a beautiful experience and gives you this warm fuzzy feeling inside which ones the heart for healing and manifestation.

Cacao it is also highly nutrient dense containing potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and magnesium.  It is also extremely abundant in antioxidants with more than 40 times more than blueberries.

Cacao also benefits from the bliss molecule anandamide (ananda is Sanskrit means bliss) which is also released during a workout when we get that “natural high”

Cacao in its purest form allows us to form a deeper connection with ourselves, our own intuition, knowing and inner guidance.

A cacao ceremony involves drinking ceremonial cacao with intention, blessings, gratitude and prayers, an opportunity to share, meditation, sound bath, healing and celebration.  The total experience is 3 hours – shorter cacao ceremonies may be adapted to time.

You can join one of my monthly cacao ceremonies or you can book a private one for a group of your family / friends
